Omar Alarian

Omar grew up inside the world of filmmaking—on sets, in post-production, and within the creative environments that shaped his understanding of cinema from an early age. He later contributed to the development and production of major regional hits such as Welad Rizk, one of the most successful films in modern Arab cinema, which solidified his reputation for sharp creative judgment and disciplined execution.

At RAW Films, Omar drives the company’s long-term vision, overseeing creative strategy, slate development, and the overall direction of the filmmakers the company supports. As the son of director Tarek Alarian, he carries forward a respected filmmaking lineage while focusing on building a modern, globally minded home for bold independent stories.
